Partnership Coordination and Project Management

The AI research project “news-polygraph” is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) as part of the funding program “RUBIN – Regional Entrepreneurial Alliances for Innovation” for three years (2023-2026). The goal of the nine project partners from media and technology companies and research institutions (Deutsche Welle, rbb, delphai, DFKI, IDMT, TU Berlin, among others) is to develop a technology platform that uses Artificial Intelligence to identify targeted disinformation (“Fake News”). My responsibilities included applying for and executing the concept phase – partner management, workshop planning and facilitation, and creating the resulting funding application, including interface management between the project sponsor and project partners.

The research project “dwerft – Linked Metadata for Media” developed, between 2019-2021, a lossless storage and linking system for all metadata generated in the value chain of moving image production using a semantically supported database – from the first script, through filming and editing, to distribution and archiving. As project manager, I led the consortium consisting of six media companies and research institutions in Potsdam-Babelsberg.
